Cleenzi (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring the responsible handling of your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, protect, and share your data when you use the Cleenzi mobile application (the “App”) or our website. Cleenzi operates in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and all applicable local laws and regulations.


1. Our Role

Cleenzi is a platform that connects car owners with both independent car cleaners and registered car cleaning businesses (“Service Providers”). Cleenzi does not directly provide car cleaning services and is not a party to any agreement or transaction between car owners and service providers. Each party is responsible for ensuring compliance with local regulations. Cleenzi is not responsible for any legal, economic, or contractual issues arising from services arranged through the platform. All agreements and obligations are governed solely by these Terms and Conditions. No direct or verbal contracts outside this framework are recognized or enforceable. Attempts to circumvent this policy may result in account suspension or termination.


2. Financial Operations

Cleenzi operates the financial transactions within the platform to ensure that service providers receive payment for completed services and car owners pay for the services they purchase. For each transaction, Cleenzi deducts a 30% service/processing fee (non-refundable) before transferring the remainder to the service provider. If a refund is approved for the service portion, a 5% refund processing fee will be deducted from the refundable amount. 3. Cookies, Analytics, and Marketing Pixels

  • Website: We use cookies for session management, analytics (such as Google Analytics), and may use marketing/advertising pixels (e.g., Google Ads, Meta/Facebook, LinkedIn, and similar platforms) now or in the future to improve user experience and for marketing purposes. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

  • App: Our mobile app does not use cookies, but may use analytics SDKs and device-level tracking technologies (such as Google Analytics for Firebase) to improve the app. You may opt out of some tracking via your device settings.

  • We do not share or sell your data to third-party marketers; all data is shared only with operational and analytics partners necessary to provide, improve, and secure the Cleenzi platform.


    4. Payment Processing with Stripe

Payments on Cleenzi are securely processed by Stripe, a third-party payment provider. Cleenzi never stores your full payment details. Stripe may process your data outside the EU/EEA in compliance with GDPR. For more details, please see Stripe’s Privacy Policy.


5. Information We Collect

We may collect and process the following types of information:

  • Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, vehicle details, and user photos when you register, log in, or book services.

  • Biometric Data: May be used for authentication (such as fingerprint or face ID) if you enable these options for login. Biometric data is processed securely on your device and not stored or shared by Cleenzi.

  • Location Information: With your explicit consent, we use location data to match you with nearby service providers.

  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the app or website (e.g., features used, booking history).

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, and unique identifiers.

  • Financial Data: Payment-related information processed securely by Stripe; Cleenzi does not store full card details.

Your information is used to:

  • Facilitate connections and communication between car owners and service providers.

  • Operate and process secure payments between parties.

  • Improve and maintain our services.

  • Comply with GDPR and all applicable local laws and regulations.

  • Provide customer support and service updates.

  • Analyze app and website usage to enhance user experience.


    7. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal data. Your information may be shared only as follows:

  • With Service Providers: Contact, location, and relevant booking information are shared with service providers for service delivery.

  • With Payment Processors: Necessary payment information is securely processed through Stripe.

  • With Operational and Analytics Partners: Only as necessary to provide and improve our services. We do not share or sell data to third-party marketers.

  • Legal Compliance: Data may be disclosed if required by law or regulatory authorities.

  • Third-Party Services: Only as necessary for app functionality and always in compliance with GDPR and relevant local regulations.


    8. Platform Liability Disclaimer

Cleenzi serves solely as a digital connector and payment facilitator between users and service providers.

  • We are not responsible for the actions, omissions, or outcomes of services delivered by service providers.

  • Each user and service provider is responsible for ensuring their activities comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and local rules.

  • Cleenzi is not liable for any legal, financial, or other consequences resulting from interactions, transactions, or disputes between users and service providers.

  • In cases where it is proven that the service provider failed to perform the agreed service, Cleenzi may, at its sole discretion, compensate the service cost to the affected party.

  • We recommend using Cleenzi’s support channels for any dispute resolution.


    9. Environmental and Legal Compliance

We emphasize the importance of following local environmental regulations:

  • It is strictly forbidden to dispose of chemicals, oils, or other pollutants into sewage systems or nature. All parties must comply with local waste disposal laws.

  • We recommend minimal use of water and encourage all service providers to adopt eco-friendly and environmentally responsible practices.

  • Cleenzi offers guidance and information within the app and website to help both car owners and service providers follow best practices and legal requirements relevant to their location.


    10. Data Security & Retention

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Your information is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described, or as required by law.


11. Your Rights

Under GDPR and local law, you have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data.

  • Object to processing or request data portability.

  • Withdraw consent for processing at any time (some features may not work if you do).
